About Muskoka Sharpshooters
Getting the kids on the ice more frequently is the ultimate goal of the Muskoka Sharpshooters'. Hockey camps are either too expensive, too far away, or have an excessive number of skaters on the ice. We aim to provide reasonably priced, high-quality hockey programs led by enthusiastic coaches.
Programs will be offered as soon as the ice is available in July and over Christmas and March break. As everyone is aware in Muskoka, available ice during prime time is slim. We will be utilizing some of the arenas in the area such as Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Bala, Port Carling, Humphrey, Baysville, etc. Going to Orillia or Barrie are also options.
We would prefer to have skates that last for 1 - 1.5 hours, but that would depend on availability. If the arena is on the outskirts of Muskoka, ice times might be longer to make the trip worth it.
We will do our best to match up players based on skillset.
These skates are not for players who are new to hockey. If the player is new, we suggest:
